She has graced the covers of the Bulgarian Harper’s Bazaar, Ocean Drive, In Style Weddings, New York Magazine, Avenue, Allure, Vanity Fair, Vogue. Melania met Donald Trump at a Fashion Week party in New York in the year 1998, when he was still married but separated from his second wife Marla Marples. Though he was present at the event with another date, Melanie had initially refused to give him her number. After a few years, the two got engaged in the year 2004.
